PRESENTATION
This collection of poetry is part of the project "Educating for Peace at School", developed in the classes of Literature teacher Mara da Silva dos Santos
The project was developed in a Brazilian school, which has been concerned in the development of actions to deal with violence and foremost, respect for diversity: racial, social, religious and cultural.
The director, Eder Angelo Fagundes Euzébio, coordination and teachers work successfully with school projects in the process of awareness and reduce violence in the local environment, because the school district is located in Los Angeles , on the outskirts of the city, a neighborhood with high levels of violence in Campo Grande
The Poems aim to promote ethics, citizenship, morality, values and work beyond school, but that will be brought to life in living in society, encourages and empowers youth leadership and social mobilization of culture peace, non-violence and human rights; students can turn readers into writers, thereby rousing spell the world of words.
BIOGRAPHY
Mara da Silva dos Santos was born on December 9, 1974, in the city of Goioerê, state of Paraná, Formed in Languages (Portuguese, English and Literature) in 1997 from the University of Western Paraná (Unioeste) and postgraduate in Methodology of Teaching Portuguese Language School in 1998 by Claretian - SP.
Taught by public schools and particularly in three states: Paraná, São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul is currently effective teacher of municipal and state in Campo Grande
Always very involved and concerned with the performance of their students, which has motivated the development of projects aimed at building peace in society and the development of reading skills, comprehension and production of texts.
Recently represented the State in semifinals of the Portuguese Language Olympiad in Natal
